"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..." -- Hebrews 10:24-25
At Faith, we believe that God calls us to share life with one another, Christians and otherwise. But we also believe that growing in relationships with other believers allows us to open up about our faith, deepen our relationship with God and seek counsel that points us to God. We offer two ways to grow in relationship with others.
Gatherings are people gathering together for a time of fellowship and fun! These get-togethers are organized by Faith Mission Partners and are meant to create fun spaces for you to meet people, connect with others and invite friends.
Groups are 3 or more people who get together regularly to share life and seek God. Because we believe in developing relationships that matter, being part of a group is one of the main ways that people grow in relationships here at Faith. Being part of the Group experience can make a significant impact on your life and therefore we recommend it for all people at Faith.
Confirmation – Looking at the promises made (typically by our parents & sponsors) during baptism and what it means to live into those promises. Learning what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
This group meets Wednesday evenings during the student's 8th-grade year (September - May) ending with an Affirmation of Baptism service in May where the students celebrate and re-affirm the promises of their baptism.
