"I shared my $10 envelope with students in FOF (LISD's adult transition program) by purchasing Scotchgard to protect a donated sofa and chairs for the students to use in their "apartment" where they develop daily living skills, work on their independence, and peer interactions." ~ Kristin Strange
"Our family received a total of $60 in our orange envelopes. We weren't sure how we wanted to use this money to make a meaningful impact. I actually forgot about it until we attended service on 03/18 and heard the stories shared. That day I saw that a friend's2-year-old niece was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. To help this family with the immense burden, we gave the $60 we received and added to it. We pray that this contribution to the medical fund will help ease the stress and burden this family faces during this difficult time." ~ The Medina Family
"Our Friday night couples small group put our tomorrow matters money together and donated it to the NBC 5 initiative to pay off medical debts for those people who needed help. Every dollar donated pays off $1000 in debt. So after pooling our money together, we contributed $260 to pay off $260,000 worth of debt for North Texas families."
What a way to make Tomorrow Matter for these families!
